Società Cooperativa Romangia rises from the already known Cantina Sociale di Sorso Sennori, founded in 1955. Following the idea of the former winery, Società Cooperativa Romangia keeps on adding value to the tipicality of a territory particularly suited for the production of high quality wines.
The philosophy of production is based on selecting those vines that have a remarkable oenological vocation typical of Romangia in such a way that all of our products highlight their terroir.
Taste, tradition, style and oenological culture can be found in our wines:
– Being made from sunny lands not far away from the Gulf of Asinara, our Vermentino is able to express absolutely extraordinary scents;
– Thanks to the proximity to the coast, our Cannonau is sapid with a soft tannin taste and great roundness;
– Our Romangia IGT with a base of Monica is fresh and balanced; our Cagnulari, typical of our territory, is spicy and sapid, due to the limestone soils on which the vineyards are placed;
– At last, our Moscato passito, our “precious” product with a sweet taste which never gets sickly, is excellent as a dessert wine, as an accompaniment for cheese, or as a meditation wine.
